Aim
The project aims at empowering VET providers and employers involved in apprenticeships and work-based learning at implementing quality assurance schemes and practices.
The value of apprenticeship and work-based learning for supporting youth employment and matching skills with labour market needs is unquestionable as also the New Skills Agenda for Europe (June 2016) and the 2017 European Commission’s Work Programme have emphasized.
The project builds and capitalizes on European Union policies and work done by the Council of European Union, European Commission, Cedefop, European Trade Union Confederation, the European Youth Network and the European Alliance for Apprenticeships.
Objectives:
- Promote and ensure the Quality of apprenticeship and work-based learning;
- Develop a Quality Assurance framework for apprenticeship and work-based learning addressing VET providers and companies;
- Benchmark and exchange good practices on Quality Assurance for apprenticeship;
- Give visibility to companies applying apprenticeship and support their image and social responsibility.
Results:
- Benchmarking methodology and tools for apprenticeship and work-based learning;
- Online benchmarking tool;
- Online platform as a web-place of reference for Quality.
